EEM303 - Data structures using C is a core course in B.Tech. (3rd semester) and builds on the introductory computing and programming course EEM201 offered in the 2nd semester. The course covers several useful data structures that are fundamental to the efficient collection and organization of data. Several common algorithms that solve various real-world problems efficiently, often through the judicious use of data structures, are also introduced. The topics covered in the course range from stacks, queues and linked lists through trees and graphs, relevant tools for evaluating space and time complexity, with suitable emphasis on real-world applications . Well-known algorithms for graph traversal, shortest route/path finding and several search and sort algorithms are also covered in some depth. Implementations will be made in the C language.
